Owner's manuals may not be the most exciting thing in the world, but they’re packed with valuable information about your vehicle. Many automakers now offer online versions of their manuals for free. In most cases, you can simply search by your car's year, make, and model to view the manual. However, in some cases, you may need to register on the carmaker's website. Occasionally, you’ll be asked to provide your vehicle’s identification number (VIN). You can find the VIN on the vehicle registration document, your insurance card, or directly on the vehicle itself.
